Freeware Semper Driver Backup: Save all your drivers for future reinstallations
No matter how hard
you work on your computer health maintenance, one day you may face the complete
system crash beyond the point of restoration. If you have saved the drive
image, you will reinstall it fast and easily on the same Hard Drive or on the
new Hard Drive, if the original has died. In such situation, you do not need
the drivers’ reinstallation as a separate action item.
However, there are situation,
when having backed your drivers up may be handy and useful. For example, you
want to refresh your Operating system, and you reinstall everything “from
scratch”. Or, when your single driver crashed, and you need to reinstall it
back to support particular hardware. System manufacturers rarely supply drivers
on disc anymore, and you may find it difficult to find the certain driver
online. In most cases, you will eventually get it, but that will take extra
time and nerves, before the component functionality will be restored. It is
especially critical, when the missing driver is the one responsible for the
Internet connection. So, you will have to use another system to access Internet
and search for suitable drivers.
Semper Driver
Backup is a free and very easy to use utility that allows you to backup and
restore drivers to and from local Windows systems. Unlike standard driver
backup utilities, it runs the backup on all system devices and components.
Semper Driver
Backup will run through your system and find every single driver. With one
click it will back up all drivers to a folder of your choice. Semper Driver
Backup also creates a backup log which serves two purposes, firstly to document
activities and secondly to provide an import script for later use. You can save
your backup on internal or external HDD, or even on your safe online storage,
so it will be at hand, when and if you need it.
